Hi there first time user I am just asking the question of, I've got a mk4 golf 1.8t gti engine code AGU and was wondering if anyone has the same engine code and if the obdeleven connects to it? I haven't got one yet but wanted to ask the question before spending the money on one. The reason why I ask is because I have tried other obd2 code readers and they connect to the car but not to the ECU, but when I took it to a garage they had the VCDS system and it connected to the car and ecu no problem. If anyone can help me with my question that will be great 😁😁

Yes. My friend has a 1.8 GTI with the AGU engine. My OBDeleven dongle connects to it, but there are very limited options for this ECU type. The AGU ECU was a strange one as even Eurodyne had only a single base map for this car which ran rough and it had to be adjusted.

OBDeleven, has more options for MK5 Golf and newer that use canbus.

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT
