Retrofit door warning lights
No Alhambra has these door warning lights. Only the Sharan in the highline.
-------------------
>> Needed Material:
- Cable from control unit to lamp has Part-Number: 3AD947411
Alternatively: Half of the repair cable 000 979 131 A and half of the repair cable 000 979 009 E.
Half cable, since both ends of a repair cable have plugs.)
- Door warning light e.g. that of the Passat B8 in LED (3 GO 947 411),
or the "normal" door warning light (1KO 947 411) with light bulb.
- New spare part clips for the door trim.
-------------------
>> Remove the door trim:
---------------
>> Cabling on the 32-pin connector from the door controller
Open the connector
Pin 5: ground (brown cable) solder on the existing cable, or go to a ground point
Pin 16: Is free for the plus cable of the door lamp.
If you want to follow the wiring harness in the door, you may have to solder another piece of cable there
Finally wrap the cable harness with textile insulating tape.
-----------
>> Activation affects for both sides in there door control unit:
Long coding: Byte 01, Bit 0 = "door entry lights activated"
-------------

Hi everyone, i have instaled them and in my Alhambra 7n (2015, April, just before the facelift) the correct codification for my car is:
52.- Electronics passenger door. Byte 01--bit 02--->on (tic appears on the box). Green button and done! 42.- Electronics driver door. Byte 01--bit 02--->on (tic appears on the box). Green button and done!
For those this may help. Regards.
