Hello,
Yes It's possible! in module 19 you have a long coding option FPA_Funktion_Freilauf_DefaultON or something else. Switch it from active to not active and you're done.

Hi, I've seen multiple places with that sailing option, what is that, what does it do?

AFAIK -"sailing" is where the auto-transmission is allowed to "free-wheel" while the car is coasting without throttle application. It's part of the emissions/efficiency function of the car. As immert advises, the software switches for FPA_function are in Byte 8- 12 of the hex19 module (what OBD11 calls the Gateway module) Don

sergi0dj : The hex19 module long-code switches determine how VW's Drive Program Function ( FPA - Funktion Programm Antriebs) operates.
The various aspects of FPA that can be modified are contained in Byte 8 - Byte 12 (I only identified Byte 8 in my first reply).
In your picture, you have shown some of the software switches for FPA -and the particular Bit that you have identified with a "X", turns ON/OFF the entire FPA option (which I suggest that you DON'T alter).
However, if you scroll further down the list, you should find an entry "FPA_Funktion_Freilauf (FPA "free-wheel" function) - see below. This is Byte12, Bit 2.
As immert suggests, this should be toggled to not-active to switch-off "sailing"

dv52 (Australia) Agree. And the function then of FPA_Funktion_Freilauf means to deactivate or not to deactivate the sail driving mode? (Deadpoint)??

I am somewhat confused. I explain. You name the función "FPA_Funktion_Freilauf", but the immert colleague refers to this other name "FPA_Funktion_Freilauf_DefaultON" , you are wrong then?? Which of the two options do I have to change to not activated? ibb.co/S7RVtdyibb.co/PNwh9MtThanks.
