Got this working on my Q8 by doing the following
STG A5 > long coding > Byte 48 > bit 7

Yeah, I get exactly the same picture as SkyAll four wheels are striked out. Well this is very strange, as my wheels were not striked out when I enabled this last night, when I got close to a wall, or in my case cardboard box, the wheels turned red.... but checking today they are indeed the same as you’ve described. Perhaps there is additional configuration. Will dig into it.

Not finding anything else that seems to be related to this so far. Any insight is appreciated! Definitely seems to be close though.

still four wheels are striked out? yeah, same result. Though no module errors or comms errors, so there has to be something I am missing. I know curb assist it purely optical based, meaning using the curb/wheel cameras so it should not require any additional modules.

In A5 long coding, there is a option for [LO]_RP_Rim_protection: [VO]_not_installed I am not sure it is the same code that you have done

Worked fine for me. No real use to this though, my parking sensors alert sides far better than what marking tires red gives me:)

If you were able to get this working, do you mind posting your long coding for A5, and 09?

Sorry. Haven't had time to look into this. But I did end up with issue you mentioned during night time when cameras dont have any visible light to detect the curb or wheels. It ends up giving me warning in dash that it cant detect and goes nuts blinking it like crazy until I start driving. So it seems there is something that needs to be Enabled to Stop alerting when it cant detect for Lets say 3 times. Day time works like a charm, but as I said totaly useless feature if you have side parking sensors

Is there any chance that you would share your complete coding?
do you have IPA (parking) from factory, or is it somthing you have coded yourself?

Hello, in my experience in the VAG there is a big difference between Active/Not Active and Installed/Not Installed. Active/Not active means that the function can be activated, but Installed/Not Installed, usually, means that a particular HW module is or not is present into the car equipment. So, if you have to activate a function that requires a particular mudule it's probably that if the module is not present in your car that function will not works or works in degraded mode. (i hope to be clear due to my bad english, sorry for this.)
Anyway in these photos Ive just seen a big difference with my car. In my car during parking in the top-view car a see my car-roof clean, but in the last photo I see some white pictures in the car roof... what it means ?
Thank you

Perhaps Maneuver assist has to be coded and activated for this to work as well. Hopefully someone will get this working or is already working for some.
