2002 S8, got the codes for low air flow secondary air system both banks. If I clear the code it takes maybe 12-24 hrs to come back. I have vac hose on the way... but not hearing my vacuum pump, can someone tell me how to test it with the Obdeleven pro? Thanks

One easy way to see if your pumps working: start the car and immediately shut it off. If the SAI works you should hear like a little vacuum cleaner from the engine bay.  (At least, that's the way it works on later models, my D3 2004 works like that.) |

The pump itself is under the air filter box. just run it manually with 12v of battery but most of the time the problems are around the ports inside the motor if the pump runs. Carbon buildup is the issue.
