I have retrofitted a RNS510 navigation unit to my GOLF GT TSI (late 2007). All hardware is installed (navigation unit, microphone and Bluetooth module). Almost everything works but I get two fault codes from the Can Gateway (19) "The controller is incorrectly coded 01044" and "data bus Infotainment no signal / communication".
And one more thing... to get the multi function steering wheel to work with this setup I ordered a Polar BT from Autopolar, so that thing is also connected to the car. But the fault codes where present before the Polar BT was connected. Anyway the Polar BT dosen't work as expected, telephone shows up in the MFD but the buttons on the steering wheel doesn't work. They do work in every other menu in the MFD.
I don't know if this things a related. A good start would be to sort out the fault codes from the gateway. Can anybody help me with this?
