Hello,

I have a OBDeleven with a Pro account. Recently i ordered the stuff needed to install a backup camera, awaiting for delivery. I want to prepare my car by enabling the Rear View Camera by going into modules -> long coding -> byte_19_Rear_View_Low and activate that. But when i put my car into reverse, it looks like it enabled the parkpilot. Does anybody know how to correctly enable the Rear View Camera?

Hi did you solve the issue, I'm experiencing something similar

I activated byte_19_Rear_View_Low, camera works only until the ignition is on, then when I turn on the ignition, park pilot error message appears and then I must activate the camera again.
It seems that OBDEleven doesn't save permanently the changes.

Hi,

I don't know if you are still having the issue. But my issue is resolved. It looks like the reverse light comes on 1 or 2 seconds after I put my car in reverse, so the camera comes on later. I have run a wire from the CA-VWM01 cable to the camera and now it is working like a charm. As far as I can remember, the green wire gets 12v when the car is put in reverse.
