Hi, Some time ago I installed a Kufatec Higline Camera on my Passat B8 (2015). When I put my car in reverse the rear camera works and also when I then drive to the front my Parkpilot is working together with the beeps as you can see in below picture.  But when I drive directly forward I only hear the beeps when I'm approaching an object. It's not showing a car anymore as it was doing before I installed the rear camera on my car. I expect to automatically get the Park Pilot screen below when I drive forward and get near to an object.  Below more information about my camera. Anyone knows how to fix this?  |

Hi I have installed Park Pilot/Autopark Kufatec system and when I have trouble I contacted them directly for support. They were very good and organised a time to connect to my car remotely via teamviewer to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Have you asked them for technical support?

Not yet as it was installed by a VAG specialist. The couldn't figure out what was going wrong. And only suggested installing a low end camera because then the front Park Pilot works.

I would contact Kufatec support directly and see what they say, I did this by sending an email to their support link quoting the order number/customer number.

The problem is that I didn't order it directly from them. I went to a VAG specialist that installed it for me. They tried everything to fix but without any result.

I have the same issue. The problem should be caused by an older can gateway module. Apparently it doesnt know how to send a signal to reverse camera as you approach the wall.
With your described problems you should also have this problem, if you press on parking assist button, that activates parktronic, then you shouldnt get any picture.
I ordered a new gateway, will report if my issue gets fixed.

Which gateway part do you have? I had everything fitted on factory ( park assist 3.0 and rear view camera high version) and my gateway part number is 5Q0907530AJ and works fine.

I am not sure what my current gateway is, but local vw club told me to get 3Q0907530AA, that it should fit my car and the issue should be resolved.

Forgot to update.
Local tech installed a new gateway 3Q0907530AA (old one was 5Q0908530AF) and after part protection removal and lots and lots of settings the thing works perfectly. Now whenever i select park, or press on dash parktronic button - the picture appears (camera) and whenever i drive too close to something the "parktronic" picture appears on console that im too close to something.
