Hello!

I've retrofitted a highline camera on my MK7 connecting it to my MIB1 discover pro.

Works fine with the guidelines etc however I cannot seem to activate the highline options which should appear on the right hand side.

For reference I also have front and rear parking sensors and park assist.

Current coding:

-Added camera to gateway installation list.

-Enabled rear view camera in parking sensor module

In 5F I've changed the following adaptations-

CAR_FUNCTION _LIST_BAP_GEN2-VPS - ACTIVATED

CAR_FUNCTION_LIST_BAP_GEN2 MSG BUS - TERMINAL 15 (I've also tried comfort databus)

With the above all works fine. However I still get no highline options and I also don't get my parking sensors overlaying with the camera (they still beep just don't show up on MIB)

Now if I change 5F to enable the lowline camera option I get back my parking sensors overlaid in the camera but am still missing highline options. Anyone with any experience with this help would be appreciated!

So when I take off the camera from 5f and reboot the MIB the camera functions exactly the same- still missing the highline options but now also missing the parking sensor overlay!

Adding it back to 5f adds back the parking sensor overlay

No problem! I'm happy someone's trying to help as I'm out of ideas!

Yes the CANBUS HIGH/LOW I've connected to the quadlock in the back of the MIB, as a matter of troubleshooting I reversed the HIGH/LOW wires in the pins which then gave no video out.

Got my camera from Aliexpress, I am following these steps :

I got the same camera in the video from the same seller.

I cannot access module 6C: "Module is not responding, check ignition"

Any ideas?
[SOLVED] ---> The canbus cables were not connected properly, my mistake. The video is fine.

gteluke :After the physical install, did you add the new hex6C module to the gateway installation list?

Check the list of modules on the car from the module list screen (below - for iOS version, but Android version has similar screen) - is there a 6C entry on the list - if so, what is the color of the surround on "6C"?

If you don't see a "6C" entry - it probably means that the CAN bus hasn't recognized the existence of the new module.

Possible causes could include (but NOT limited to):

Incorrect polarization of the 2 x CAN wires - meaning CAN-high & CAN -low wires are switched on the connector. Check for correct wire colors
incorrect Power wiring - does the new camera pop-out when car is in reverse?
