What do you want to do with your obd device? What are your expectations? If you want the best devise that fits your expectations you need to tell more.
I ordered the pro version. Just because i wanted to backup, change and unlock a lot of futures and to use long coding.

However, for some time now, the VAG group of companies (including VW) has standardized on the J1962F connector which uses OBD-II protocols. The connector looks like this:
Your MY19 Tiggy uses this 16 x pin connector. ALL OBD11 devices comply with the OBD-II protocol connectors (note the distinction between acronyms).

I only want to make few changes , like disable auto start/stop and other types of adjustments. I’m not the type to go in and change crazy settings. I don’t plan on being a hard core “hey let’s get crazy” but I do like flexibility like adjusting the reverse mirrors option. Specifically I’m look forward easy app features.

It doesn't matter which operating system that you use: the same device is used on both IOS and Android. OBDeleven only has one current dongle which can be purchased with, or without the PRO facility. If you only want to use Apps, the non-pro version will suffice. But if you want the option to implement tweaks manually - you will need the PRO version. The choice is yours!

In your post you said “ OK - short answer is that the dongle in your link will fit a 2019 Tiguan”
Sorry, is this a question or are you saying “yes” this is the dongle I need to get.
If so, I see start, pro and ultimate. Your saying I’m safe to use the basic then correct?
I see first gen and next gen.

hmm....... I repeat, again (tautology intentional) "the dongle in your link WILL fit a 2019 Tiguan." - this is not a question (notice that the sentence doesn't have a "?" at the end, it has a full-stop)
Of course, you are free to choose whatever product that OBDeleven has on offer on their webpage (all the devices will work on your car).
I don't provide advice on how much money you should give to VOLTAS for your purchase - it's your money and only you know what you are likely to need and only you know how YOU value the different options.
If you want just a simple entry device, spend the minimum amount - if you want all the bells and whistles, buy the highest-priced unit. Personally, I don't value the extra €40 for the "Ultimate pack" to get the phone holder, the pouch and 500 credits - but that's simply my opinion (I NEVER use APPS), you might have a different view.
You first need to decide on the PRO versus non-PRO versions - look at the comparison table on the "Features" page to see the difference. Is it worth an extra €30 to buy the PRO? You can ask others to provide the answer to this question for you, but anyone else will be just guessing your needs and they will use their own value of money. In truth, only you know this answer because only you know how you are likely to use the device and only you know how YOU value the extra spend.
Sure, buy the first gen device instead of the next gen device if you want - it's cheap because it uses old technology but it will also work on a 2019 Tiguan.
