Starter does not turn
(Mechanically blocked or electrical malfuntion)

Static
Car lost power, Went into to LIMP with glow plug flashing. Pulled over, Car does not crank anymore.
Does anyone have any experience with this error or recommendations ?

I had this error message when my injectors failed, the car went into limp mode first, when I tried to start it again I got this error message.
RAC Man said this is a safety feature when the car thinks the engine is in danger and it stops you trying to start the car again.
Not saying you have failed injectors but are there any other faults being reported (I had lots of errors)

Quick update for those who are interested or may be in the future.
New starter motor installed, No difference. Seems to be getting hot so might be burning itself out because I keep trying and hoping it will start.
Manual crank - Engine Ceased!
It's going into garage Monday, Stripped down etc... and hopefully returned back to me as a brand spanking new motor with 2020 plates (I wish!).

Engine was hydrolocked with oil due to a failed/faulty turbo.
turbine cartridge replaced and turbo reconditioned, Intercooler and engine flushed, Full service added onto the bill.
All in all, £750 (parts + labour).
