Can anyone confirm they have this working, and what needs coding?
I am on the verge of purchasing - I want to enable car play wireless, and boot close on key - they are all I need, but would like to know its been done before committing.

I have only the standard key and I am also not able to activate the closing of the boot closing by pressing the on the key
has someone experience with enabling this functionality?

I read about this not being possible on the C8 on another forum.
But then yet today i've been send a movie of it working (from factory) on a friends car.
Gonna check in soon to make a reading of his coding

Keep in mind that this only works if you're standing directly close behind the car with the key in your hand. Not from remote.

Seems like this is only possible when you have the keyless entry with close/lock button on the boot.
I have a normal comfort key, so no keyless entry. This makes the boot only with close/button (without lock)
No luck to make it close with the key.

I have the close/lock button on the boot and it works for me without changing any settings (close by fob).
I have the premium plus with executive package which has the motorized close boot (like the Prestige has)

I also have the motorised boot.
But if you don’t have keyless entry it seems there is only a button on the boot to “close”
When u do have the keyless entry you have the “close/lock” button on the boot.
And these cars with keyless entey can close it from the key.
Cars without keyless entry seems to be impossible closing the boot with the key
