Can anybody help me. I would like to know if I can install puddle light (external entry light). I saw that in the rearview mirror it has the marking for the puddle light and found it on aliexpress. How to code for it to work as original? Thanks.

I don't have a puddle light installed. I bought it to install. I would just like to obtain the necessary information for this: which pins connect the positive and negative. Following is the module information:

DRIVE DOOR > System Description: TSG FS - Identifier: J386 - Hardware Number: 5Q0959393b - Hardware Version: 020 - Software Number: 5Q0959393E.

PASSENGER DOOR > System description: TSG BFS - Identifier: J387 - Hardware number: 5Q0959592B - Hardware version: 020 - Software number: 5Q0959592E.

I can only help you on the passenger side because its the high line door module.
The door module on Driver side doesnt have the extra power pin for the puddle light.

on the Passenger door module mirror harness
Pin 1: Puddle light power
Pin 3: Ground for puddle light and mirror heater.

For the Driver door module I cannot help you since its the "low" line version
If you do decide to upgrade the Driver door module make sure it ends with 593b, ~~do not buy 592b~~ because that is only for passenger side
Low line: 5Q0959 393 b
High line: 5Q0959 593 b

maybe someone else can help you find a way to splice into another wire for the driver side. other wise I recommend the module upgrade,
Before you replace the door module make sure to do a backup of your original door module just in case the new/refurbished module is "incorrectly" coded
Also you will need to re-calibrate the window motor for the automatic one tap open/close function, very easy procedure which takes no longer than few seconds.

Buddy, even my golf mk7.5 won't turn on the puddle light on the driver's door module?

As i said the driver door module is lowline and "my guide" wont work
"My guide" only works on the passenger side module because thats the highline version.

Light configurations that I have already managed to make successfully and that is working perfectly like the original:

# Front_Field_Light = External courtesy light under the external mirror (illuminates the floor) - positive on pin 1 and negative on pin 3 of the 16-pin connector. (successfully installed).

# Door_Exit_Light = turn on the light when opening the door (lights the floor so as not to put your foot in a "puddle" when leaving the car) - positive on pin 16 and negative on pin 5 of the 32-pin connector. (successfully installed).

# Inside_Door_Handle_Light = Lights on the door handles - positive pin 3 and negative pin 5 of the 32-pin connector. (Did not work) .

# Ambiente_Light = LED strips on door panels and door sill - positive on pin 8 and negative on pin 5 of the 32-pin connector. (Did not work).

Guys, I would like help to successfully install Inside_Door_Handle_Light and Ambiente_Light. I already activated the long coding in the 5F module but the two lights did not work. What is missing to code correctly? Thank you very much
