On my 2020 SE there were only a couple that didn't work but I didn't try them all because mine doesn't have the necessary equipment.

It doesn't work on my 1 month old 2020 Tiguan. App doesn't work, after 5 sec it says, something wrong, wait or close app, and then it closes itself. I have tested it on another, older car, app works.

And when you tied the app to your car it recognized your vin, modules and car info?

I also gave the 2020 model and everything works where there's a app available and the only ones that won't work clearly say not supported. I think I've only had one fail to work and that's the vibration or pulsing on the stop start button and I done the mirror link app and I can't get this to work but that's probably something I'm doing wrong and not a coding issue via the apps. It sounds like your obdeleven unit is not picking up the correct car so just check your vehicle selection is correct or use the vehicle vin number and you then get the correct apps for the vehicle. Currently for the 2020 tiguan rline there's tons and tons of apps or long coding available and I've probably done 20 odd mods 👍

I have 2016 AD1 and most apps didn’t work for me. But long coding and adaptations manually worked

It is also possible that your car has then new security feature that requires the bonnet to be open to support coding.
