Looking to disable the little amber LED parking lamps. I found a comment doing a google search, but it seems to contradict alot of other posts i've read as this seems too simple and the others are all quite involved. Hoping someone can shed a bit of light as to whether the below would work:
access central electronics, security code the usual 31347 access 10-Adaptations Leuchte26NSL-LA72 -0 Lichtfunktion A 26 - Change from 'Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht: Positionslicht: Begrenzungslicht)' to 'nicht aktiv'
Any further info would be helpful.

Yup, Leuchte26NSL is the one for the front amber markers. You can also change the “Lasttyp” value in there to “nicht aktiv” instead of “43-allgemeine led” which it should be by default. But yeah it is as simple as that.

I would suggest to keep the Lasttyp, but to remove the functions ABCDEF. This is the better practice. This is how coding was designed. With A-F disabled, the BCM is programmed like: There is a light, but it is never lit (which is the correct case). Disabling the lasttyp will be: There is no light, but it is turned on in condition a-f - this is odd, never ment to be and might cause problems.
