Hello,
Is there somebody that has success disabling that chime noise when driver's door is open when the car is running or ignition is on.
For a while now I am trying to disable that chime with no success.
Methods I've tried:
1. 17-Dashboard > Long coding > find value "Driver's door" and replace value to "No display"
At Long Coding, I can not find no values "Driver's door" or "All doors".
2. 17-Dashboard > Adaptation > Ignition active message; Trigger > change to "No display"
When entering "Adaptation" menu I get message "description data not found", so nothing I can do here also.
This is not a complicated task using VCDS, I just don't have one. I still hope to make it (not)work with OBDeleven. Any thougths?

Dang, I’ve been looking into the same thing. Any luck? There must be a way for this. Seems like it annoys everyone (when searching) but no one has it figured out.

Would be great to get it done through OBDeleven... I can’t imagine there not being a way(?) Doesn’t seem like an in-depth complex feature from the factory. .

Eliminar el pitido de puerta:
Se hace todo a través del módulo 46.
46 Confort System, primero en Adaptacion, canal 98, se cambia el valor 1 por 0.
Después, de nuevo en el módulo 46 Confort System, Codificación extendida, en el Byte 15 activar bit 0 y 3.
Tengo un A4 b8.5 del 2015 y ya no tengo el molesto timbre al abrir la puerta con el motor encendido.

yes I were.
I did it changing the binary code on byte 15 directly to 01001111. And obiusly changing to 0 the channel 98.

Keep in mind heading to page Byte 15, the Bit 0 Tick the box and 3 is appears to be classified as "Engine turn off when Doors opened" this is the so called "3" Tick on that too..
Mine was Bit 0 Ticked, Bit 02 Ticked, Bit Engine turn off when Doors opened (03) Ticked and Bit 06 Ticked the rest is unticked.

Hello everyone! I have tried the coding for the door chime as described here but without any success ! When i get in to adaptation chanel 98 for me everything is blocked there , i can't change anything ! Did anyone experience this , maybe know where to anabel it first  I have an Audi A4 B8 from 2012 . I have a 2013 A4 B8.5 facelift, and I have the same problem. Others with the same year have also complained on other boards. It seems like for this one year, module 46's adaptation channel 98 is missing. OBDeleven displays it, but there's always an error reading it.
Some people have talked about setting the dashboard module's country to "Germany", where they don't have such silly requirements, but my USA car is already set "Germany" for some strange reason.

Hi, this is not worked in every VCDS version and question is how does it work with OBDeleven? Because you can't see the channels, need to know exacly the byte which to change.
So we just waiting a solution. If some has any idea would you please share the solution. Thanks,

Yeah, I have this same issue with 2013 A6 C7. Channel 98 says: (31) Function not available. However, there reads "Door buzzer" in description, so something is found.
Coding bytes like 00000101 according to the "disable door beep" instructions, works for engine not shutting down when opening the driver door. But the annoying buzzer sound stays because I can't complete adaptation. Help?
