Hi all, would anyone offer their opinion on why I'm receiving this trouble code? in my 08 a/c climatronic module?
System description: Climatronic Software number: 5G0907044BL Software version: 1601 Hardware number: 5G0907044BL Hardware version: H04 ODX name: EV_ACClimaBHBVW37X ODX version: 006142 Long coding: 00020004200100010105004000101022
Trouble codes: B137A31 - Outside air quality/air humidity sensor No signal static
I tried to do a search but maybe I'm blind!
Thanks

shadptr: hmm............ has there been any modifications made to the car regarding either the Air Quality sensor, or the Air Con control module? If not, then the DTC seems to be self explanatory - one, or both of these devices has gone out to lunch!! Likely, the problem is with the sensor since you have only one DTC. The air quality sensor (which VW calls "G238") lives behind the front right air intake grille (i.e. it's physically inside the plenum chamber). Why don't you check the pin activity on the sensor (G238 only has 3 x pins) - like this : - PIN #1 should have a terminal 15 power supply from fuse position #34 on the "C" fuse-box (which is the one inside the cabin on the lower-left side of the steering wheel on LHS drive cars)
- Pin #2 should be connected to earth
- PIN #3 should be connected to PIN#16 on the Air Con control panel

Thanks for your reply Don. I believe i once coded for auto air recirculation but i think i reverted the changes. I dont know if the coding introduced this error but it cannot be cleared. I will investigate into the pins. Was hoping to avoid a visit to the dealership. Ty.
