You’ve been given the door exit lights wiring a few times I've already managed to install the door exit light. Positive on pin 16 and negative on pin 5 (Brown). The other three lights are missing. Does anyone know which pins connect?

eli: I'm not sure of the practices in the country where you are from, but it's customary in my part of the world to express appreciation when someone helps. If VWjap was helpful in sorting out your question about where to earth the exit light in your other thread, them perhaps a small thank you might be worth noting so he knows that his advice was received and that it was successful. It might even be polite to express this thanks before starting another thread about ostensibly the same project and then expect further advice from a forum member - perhaps? We moderators do this stuff for no pay - it's certainly not mandatory, but it's nice every once in a while to read that those receiving our advice appreciate our efforts - so, how about it? As for you next question - the door modules are wired like this for the 3 x lights (both sides the same) Don

Regarding my question, I was unable to understand this figure that you put. Excuse me. I had more information to pass on. Thanks.

In Don's (DV52) diagram above, the J386 (driver door control module), is the box you will find towards the upper front of the door when you take the door card off, and is responsible for handling all the electrical inputs and requests to the various door units.
There are two ambient light units on the doors, one is W86 and one is L219. W86 controls the main strip light in the upper part of the door and L219 is for the light that illuminates downwards in the door handle housing.
W86 get's it's positive signal from terminal 8 of the main connector T32a (there are 32 possible connectors). L219 get's it positive from terminal 3 of the connector T32a. Both of them go back to a common earth.

door electronics > modules > long coding > make active.
In conclusion: after installing the pins, the configuration via obdeleven 11 is just to access the door control unit and activate each light or is there something else?
Thanks

Finally. Thanks all for the interest and the help. In the door have this conector. unplugged this blue conector, and we can use this pins for the installations. For the Door exit lights use for positive PIN number 16. For handle lights use for positive PIN number 3. For ambient lights use for positive PIN number 8. All the negative can be use the PIN number 5. The activation of this are in modules 42 and 52. In both modules, go to Byte 1. In bit 1 the ambient lights. In bit 2 the door exit lights, and in bit 3 the door handle lights. I think this is more clearly for simply people like me. Amazing. Congratulations. Buddy, did you install the three lights? Are they working perfectly?

Did you install the "door exit light" on the four doors or just the two on the front? How is the installation of the two behind? Is the connector pin for the rear doors the same as the front?

Hello. The rear doors don’t have conector J386. The you must get the power of the pin 2 conector of the electrical windows lifter for the positive, and the negative from pin 5 of an upper

when you make adaptations you have two ways. One way is to make an adaptation similar to the original. in this case you must code in the BCM module, within adaptations of interior light. The other way is to get power from the power window connector. Look for a positive and a negative for this connector. A pole finder is appropriate because sometimes the colors of the cables change depending on the model. In the videos you can see this second option

thanks for your answers. Do you refer this? Guys, I connected led lights on the internal handle and the door directly on the positive and negative of the windows and installed the exit lights on the rear doors just like this video on youtube. With the internal lights off everything works perfectly. However, when turning on the internal lights, the windows do not go down, they only go up. Could anyone help? Did he unset the windows?

In a high series car is there a power source in the rear doors to give ambient lights that come on when the car lights activate, like other ambient lights in the front doors?
If I used power window power would that mean they are powered constantly?

Finally I installed the ambient light and door handle light like stock car. In this case I must coded in 42 and 52 module, but in adaptations of 09 module too for control of the ambient lights in diferent scenes. Interior light parameter controls this aspect. After coding only had to open and close the door for activate.
In my case I decided to use the blue colour like the R.
I don’t know why VW engineers only put this in the driver and passenger doors. Not enough for my taste..... but looks very nice.

I installed 12v leds on the 4 internal door handles, however, I have a problem with the driver's window switch (4 windows). When the instrument lights are off, everything works fine. When they are accessed, the driver's switch cannot lower any of the 4 windows, only go up. can anybody help me? I turned on the leds on the positive and ground of the instrument lights on the window switches.

Why don’t you make the next challenge.....
Disconnect one or two of the rear lights. And taste lower the 4 windows.... maybe it is very charge for this function.... I think this is the problem.
