Hello!
I'm going to install "logo lights" to my front doors but I have no idea how to code them to work. I'm going to replace the reflectos with the door lights according to this video (coding starts at 8:55). The problem is that he is using VCDS and I don't have that.
If anyone here knows how to do this in OBDeleven please help me out! I'm not so familiar with long coding so I need quite specific instructions.
I'll post results as soon as I get mine to work. I hope that it will look cool!

Coding for your project is not difficult with OBD11 - it's done like this: - Select the Door electronics driver side module @ address hex42
- Select Coding
- if you see a screen with a bunch of numbers across the top and tick boxes down the screen, press the 0/1 button at the top RHS
- You should see a screen with a bunch of descriptors like my picture below (note: my screenshot is from the old OBD11 software, but the current software shows the same entries)
- Select door_exit_light (this is Byte 1, Bit 2) and set to active
- Repeat above procedure with the Passenger side door module @ address hex52

You mean the cill lights? If so that does the same job as the floor lamps the guy wants to fit, and yes the cill lights are driven by the door controllers (so I’ve been told), and be careful if you ever take the cill covers off because the looms for the cill lights are very fragile Cill lights see fragile

Yeah the video gave me a headache, but I think he did say he would fix the wires better at a later date, and I think the fact he was holding the camera while recording dint help either, shouldn’t really use tape on a join as if it gets hot it can unfurl and short, should’ve used heat shrink and taped to existing wiring loom
