Hello, I'm wondering what the limits on data logging are. Is it possible to have the app record all events on a certain bus/module in the car? For example, catch the codes being triggered by the window up and down buttons being pressed. I'm having issues trying to get an ELM 327 based device to work for this, despite it being theoretically possible, so I'm wondering if it would be possible with OBDeleven. Thank you!

From memory (cant find release note) obd11 supports up to 16 live data elements on nextgen dongle, its possible to have more but you will not be in real time.
If you have freeze frame data on this would slow it down a bit but never tried comparing live data response times i am afraid
