I have vw b8 2015 with composit media center ( without navigation ). I was wondering if someone managed to unlock MirrorLink with this OBD11 module ? I want to buy if it is possible to unlock ! Any help is welcome !! Sorry on my poor English !

If you have a do not work AppConnect/Mirrorlink Button on Radio Screen, then you can go to your Volkswagen dealer for activation. Obdeleven can only unlock VIM (Video in Motion) and unlock MirrorLink in Motion. Then you can use all apps (only Sony, LG and HTC) while driving. Without unlock VIM you can use only MIRRORLINK-ENABLED APPS. FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF MIRRORLINK-ENABLED APPS: www.mirrorlink.com/appsMirrorLink in Motion HTC or Sony (need unlock VIM) MirrorLink in Motion Samsung (No unlock VIM needed) |

Is it possible to unlock VIM (Video in Motion) via the VCDS (not odbeleven)? I didn't find any coding informations over the web.

Is there a code to activate VIM Mirrorlink besides using the app? no, as some parts have a different security level and need a code that's encrypted to your serial number of the unit (although Audi MIB2 codes are easily enough broken) |

So it is not possible to get the VIM by the long coding with the Pro-App?
I would like to activate it if I need it and disable it some days later.
Is it possible to disable it with the app and enable it without credits?

Is it possible to disable it with the app and enable it without credits? no, unless you know how Volkswagen do the security code for that side of things, but if you have 200 credits then you can activate it and then deactivate it then after that I think it's free to use because you've already paid, but I would email obd11 just to check I got that right |

Hi, is it possible on my mib2 to unlock mirrorlink and use every app? I've spent 200 credits to inlock vim and mirrorlink and can't see no difference. I never have access to others apps.

It’s in motion, so the Mirrorlink or the video will work whilst driving, doesn’t activate the Mirrorlink (that needs to be done by dealer)
Pretty sure you need specific phones to use Mirrorlink, and maybe a app on your phone
