Hello, I just changed my 8 inch discover media screen to a newer 8 inch screen. On my old screen there is a traffic button, on the new one an app button instead. When I press it nothing happens. is there a way to code the key so that it launches mirrorlink? thank you.

You only changed the screen? What did you have previous as there are different types of screens.

No issue with component protection? Or is that only if you change the main unit?

There is no component protection if you change only the display. I thing this touch work with a différent main unit (in this case you have to remove component protection) or perhaps a firmware update.

Ok i think a firmware update might resolve the issue.
Brains not communicating correctly with the screen.
Didn’t realize you could swap just the screen. Definitely will be doing that.
Do you have the Trim part number?
