Hi as title suggests I currently don't have the "P" button on the dash that my previous Leon Fr had to activate or deactivate the front and rear parking sensors. My current Leon is a 66 plate Fr and I'm wondering if there is anything that can be done either to activate park pilot or even add the "P" activation button on the dash. Currently the only way to activate the front parking sensors is to stop the car, put into reverse gear then into first gear & it annoys me everytime. Who thought this was a good idea? I also park my car reversed up my drive and always leave the car in reverse this means when I jump in the car and select first gear the front parking sensors activate and bleep constantly until I'm out my driveway - this annoys me everytime.
Any suggestions? Thanks for any replies.

just checked the 2016 manuals and they show a P Button, on the assumption this car is second hand to you is it possible somebody fitted after market parking sensors.
One thing to check in the settings menu for the car have a look under Driver assistance systems and see if there are any options that may help you.

The sensors are factory fitted. Theres no "P" button on the dash though. It's just a wee thing but it's also a pain in the backside. The only thing that can be done through the onboard computer is adjusting the volume. I'm seriously missing my VW Scirocco that I traded in for this Leon.

thats very odd I checked the manual for the 16 plate car and it shows the P Button. I will have a look to see if anybody has put up a post for retrofitting one of these.
