To Enable Remote Operation Windows and Sunroof go to
Central Convenience 46 -> Long Coding ->
Byte 2
Bit 2 - Set to 1
After you’ve done those, a new menu will show up in your MMI, under Settings -> “Central locking” or Car -> “Windows”. You must enable comfort-opening the windows via the remote from there as well.
Adaptation channels 061 and 062 may have additional "Comfort Operation" for opening and closing functions. If comfort opening -or- closing is not working verify those options are not disabled.

My 2010 Audi A5 used to open but i wanted to be able to close it too. I did what was said and it didn't work. So i reversed everything and left it as it was, now the windows do not open with the remote.

Hi,
Does anybody know how I could select the individual windows which will operate with remote key?
I open my windows by the remote everyday. All windows. in MMI I can select if I want only the front or rear or all windows to open.
But, I have a shader net stickd on my right rear window, so every time if I open all windows then the shader fall down. So, I would like to configure the system to open three windows only. Not the right rear one.
I am sure there is a bit somewhere to switch it from 0 to 1. But I do not know which one is it.
Can anyone help?

Hi When I go into long coding in 46 I don't see an option to set a byte or a bit; I get  Any idea what to set for the new menu to show up ? Cheers |

 Hi, I have the same problem, did you manage to solve it? I have been struggling with this for a month and I also have no way of changing it as they write above. It is not possible to change 0 - 1 and vice versa. Through the application and points also does not work. I could buy VCDS, there are no such problems and everything works. ![]()

Can anyone take a video screenshot to find out exactly how it is done, because I guess the Obdevelen app currently for 2021 has a completely different menu.

There are two options to see when you select module 46. 1. Long coding 2. adaptation In long coding - You need to enable byte 2 bit 2 (third one down) to enable the comfort on keyfob. In adaption 61 and 62 need the correct code to include the features you want. You need to add them together and enter the code. Obviously if you don't have a sunroof you cant add that option to the code. |
