Enter menu_display_angle_of_slope_over_threshold_high. Switch to On

Press the Validate button. The code is 20103.

Go back to Adaptation and look for Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2

Enter Compass_0x15. Switch to On

Enter Angle_Of_Slope_0x24. Switch to On

Press the Validate button

Exit Adaptation, Return to Module 5F and click on Extended Coding .

(This step is only for those who do not have a GPS system, if you have a GPS you can go to the next step). Without changing to the bytes mode, look for the byte_24_Navigation_System . Switch to On .

Press the Validate button

Restart the Infotainment by pressing and holding the power button between 10s to 15s and release.

Important note: For those of us who do not have a navigator, the compass will not work because we do not have the GPS module, and when you do a bug scan with Obdeleven or any other cable you will always see a fault saying that the module is badly coded, it will even appear in the service official. This is a consequence of the modification of step 13 that is necessary to indicate (cheat) you as if we have a browser when we do not really have it. That this failure appears has no other consequences or causes malfunction or problems of any kind.

Dear Mrv,

Thanks for sharing Codings and Adaptions.

I am trying to activate adaptive lane tracking (assist) on my Kamiq 1.6 TDI Ambition DSG MY2021.( I know this is not the section of kamiq but scala and kamiq are pretty much the same cars.)

So far i have gone through this long coding on Control Unit A5 as you mentioned:

POINT OF INTERVENTION -> early_setting_via_menu (enable adaptive lane assist)
CONFIGURATION_FOR_LANE_DEPARTURE_WARNING_KL15 -> last_setting (enable lane assist power status memory)
HC_WARN_INTENSITY -> setting_over_menu (enable lane assist warning intensity MIB setting)

Everything seems good on menu for lane assist, i can find setting to activate/deactivate lane assist(as before long coding) and to activate/deactivate adaptive lane assist + chose level of warning intensity (which appeared after long coding).

The problem is that i can't activate adaptive lane assist. It is there on lane assist menu but once i press on it, it's not getting checked.

The only way i found out it can be checked is when i turn on ignition, if i rush to lane assist menu and checked it, is activated for 2-3 secs. Then after these 2-3 secs it is unchecked automatically(deactivated).

You can Find attached my A5 unit info and A5 unit long code with the 3 changes above activated.

I would appreciate your effort to find out what's going on!

Hi, maybe the city pack is required due to the front camera for the adaptive lane assist.

Try to set early (without menu option) and check if the car stays in the center of the street. In this way you should not seen any MIB option, but the adaptive lane assist should be enabled.

If also this doesn't work probably your car cannot have the adaptive lane assist.

I tryied already to set it early but i don't think that there is any difference. ''On the other hand'' i have seen in other medels like Octavia and Karoq having the same A5 unit MFK 3 Valeo MQB and they are able to activate and use adaptive lane assist.

I think that adaptive lane assist works only with A5 unit, am i correct ?

I will keep searching...
