Can someone help me with this problem. I bought my Golf 7 with damage and had to replace the right headlight. On the dashboard I get a message that my cornering lights do not work. Now I do not know if these faults have anything to do with it, if so? Does someone know what to do, to make these faults go away?
Everything else works fine on both headlights

^^^ hm........ the DTCs in your post don't really align with your statement that the dashboard error is about "cornering lights".
We really do need more information - otherwise we are just guessing widely as to what might be the fault cause!
For example: When was the car built (121,306 kms - so a few years old-perhaps)? What country? Does the RHS headlight actually work? If so do ALL the lamps in the fitting work? What type of cornering lights are fitted to the car? Do the cornering lights actually work? Are there any other DTCs in the scan report? Did you (or anyone else) change ANY settings in the car as part of the new headlamp fitting installation?

Hi Don, thanks for the reply. The car was built in 2015. ALL the lamps in the headlight work just normal. I do not know what type of cornering lights are fitted to the car, any idea how i can find this out? The cornering lights do not work, that is why i get a message on the dashboard saying that the cornering lights do not work. There are no other codes in the scan report regarding the headlights or any other lights. I did not change any setting in the car as part of the new headlight fitting, it was a plug and play headlight. Down below you can see the full scan report, I don't know if it can help. history.txt (12.85 KB) Maybe that the 'steering angle sensor' has something to do with it?

hmm...... yes,the steering angle fault could be the cause of the cornering light fault - because the position of the steering wheel does control the operation of the function. The scan report does suggest that for some reason your car has lost initialization - so basic setting procedure is needed

^^^ I doubt it - the "not coded" error message suggests a different type of cause. The cornering lamp itself is not fused - it's the range control module (J745) that's fused. If this fuse is blown I would expect entirely different DTC and the HIDs would not swivel.
But it's easy to check the fuse!
