Newbie question. I have recently activated the PRO version and on my Q7 (USA version) I have accessed the Long Coding screen for the very first time. The right side of the screen indicates "Touareg - NAR", and I'm uncertain why it says this, maybe it's a default first time setting? What are the next steps to start the Long Coding process from this screen, such as typing something, or using a drop down?? It seems when I attempt to change this there is some kind of stop/start deactivate message and I don't understand why that pops up.

I need a little help pushing my craft into the water.

Just be warned over the years VW Change the car setup so for example pre 2016 a lot of cars had long coding in Control Unit 09 but then VW Removed it and put all these switches into the Adaption chanels.

Hope that helps to understand about the long coding process.

With regards to your car saying NAR, I would have thought that is correct for a US Car as my European car says Europe/Rest of World.

My understanding of the details you see is that these labels are created by users and if you have multiple options then when you select it a list will appear, however not all options with multiple setups have multiple labels.
