Hi all as mentioned in subject, this is a new app but it doesn't work on MY2019 Tig R line tech. Anyone else got it work?

On the infotainment center press the Car button, press Settings, scroll to Factory Resets and press, press Lights and then press Reset on the pop-up window. Have to do this after some/most lighting changes.

you must at first activate the following in the obdeleven app:
1- Rear lights on with DRL
2- DRL control on car menu
then you can activate rear lights on with DRL
it worked vy me and I have Tiguan 2018 highline

Sorry I want to correct my answer.
After activating 1 and 2 you can activate turn signals blinking with rear lights

I used the option V2 in the "one-click application".
I tried to find the coding but ended up spending the 10 credits.
I have "Rear lights on with DRL" activated by app but not "DRL control on car menu".

Do you have a NAR model? If so, I figured out the coding to have the inner tails blink in opposite phase to the outers. Link to my mod doc which contains the information is in my sig. Video is long, but I tested in each position on a Euro Switch and with brakes. Prior coding it worked but only during daytime but not night time. Cracked the coding.

Thank you! Yes, you have a Rest Of World model. I'm North American Region (NAR) and we don't have the cooler LED rear tails like you. The one click application doesn't work properly on my model. That's how I figured out the coding on my NAR model.

Greekguy, if you’re asking me the link to my video above shows how the tails work after coding to have them in opposite phase (dunkelphase) for the turn signals. Here’s a longer video with exterior lighting mods. Description in the video.

[mention]aussietig [/mention]I did my coding through VCDS and yes while I tried to get the dancing rear blinkers as seen in my video to work it only worked during the day, didn’t work at night or all the settings available on a Euro Switch. I finally figured out the coding to get them to work and day night on Auto, on any selection on the Euro Switch and also during braking which is vitally important. The coding performed can be performed with OBD11 and I did provide my coding to OBD11 if they plan to release for those that don’t have Euro style rear tail lights. My doc is in my signature if you want to take a look at the coding.

Hey guys,
I've Scandinavian DRLs & DRL control in menu both On via the the app, and I've reset the Lights via the menu, but still Turn Signals Blinking with Rear Light don't work. Tried both V1 & V2.
any other ides on how to get it to work?

[mention]martinenko [/mention]and [mention]pistino [/mention]do you guys have the North American Region (NAR) models? If so V1 and V2 do NOT work as our rear LED tails are a different configuration. If you want joker tails my doc for my former Tiguan SEL-P R Line has the steps under exterior lights. Videos above show them functioning. tinyurl.com/TigRLineMods |
