Both IOS and Android do work but obviously not on your older model car,

If you could provide more details of what it can (if anything) or cant do, can you see control units but cant code, does it scan etc

Further you should be reporting these directly via the app to support (because they don't spend a lot of time on this user Forum I am afraid)
