Does anyone know how to get rear lid control to work on the 2019 A7 4K?
I have a powered trunk/boot lid and can lock the trunk/boot from the boot lid itself.
I have tried to activate this app but I get an error saying ‘Not Supported’.
The rest of the apps I’ve got to work, well the once I want.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Do you have the comfort access? (open the trunk by kicking underneath) - if so, it's actually already enabled - you just have to kick under the trunk again, or hold the boot open button on the key fob (for quite a long time!).
Next time I'm in the car, I'll export the settings of the rear lid module.

It’s not great though as it quicker to use the button than wave my leg under the car for ages. LOL. Will try the hold to close on the key fob when I’m home on Thursday. |

The "hold the button for a long time to close the lid", only works when you're standing behind the car and pretty close to the car.
I would like to close and open from far away.
Also, the kick underneath, only works if you have the key with you. Also annoying

i found this instruction below somewhere on a A/-site, however the adaption-values are missing on my A7 2018-2019. I guess the below is for an older version of A7.
Any ideas?
Close your boot remotely using your key fob (and retain the opening feature)
Go to Module 46 (cent convenience), coding, long coding helper and ensure byte two, bit two is ticked it says "Comfort operation: Remote control active".
Then got to module 6D (Trunk Electrics), security access and enter security code "12345".
Then still in Module 6D, click adaptation, channel and there are 4 options in there (among others) called "Activation using rear lid opening button in remote key - Touch function for closing".
Select all four of those options, one at a time, and change the value to ACTIVE and press do it. Thats it.
You still open your boot as normal - press and hold the middle button on the fob, but to close it, you can now just click the button on the remote (not a press and hold) and the boot will close and beep to warn you. Love this mod!
