Hello,
I have an 18 Golf R in Canada with the oil service interval factory set to 16000km.
Is it possible in OBD eleven to reduce it to 8000km?

Regards, Eric Eric: I suspect that the previous response is targeted at answering your specific question - which is strictly correct, but it doesn't address you implied 2nd question!! As to how - try this: - Go to the Dashboard module @ address hex17
- Select Adaptation
- In the search line, enter FIX
- Select Max. distance until next mileage-related inspection
- The default value is normally 1500, but it be should be 1600 in your Canadian car (as you say)- change as desired

Yay internet...
Anyways - found the adaptations and now have to ask the dealership why they are set to 30,000km rather than 16,000km!
Interesting find.
