Hello,
I tried to do some longcoding in module 5F, but I constantly get the error (31) function not working. Why is that? The other modules work fine.

It is a Dutch car and the version is a Sport Business. I think it is an equivalent of the Style. It is build in december 2019.
Did your friend have a solution for this, or will it simply not work?

I have also tried several combinations. I have even checked a Scala with Bolero that had the WLAN hotspot. But from the adaptations and long coding was nothing to see. I have a unit with parts no. 654 035 869b. I have seen several sales advertisements of this particular unit. If you look at the label, it says: MIB3E_MQB_BTWIFI. I would expect it to have WLAN then.. These functions can be found in the adaptations and can be changed. As far as I know now, longcoding is no longer used in module 09 and 5f.
Are these the settings from your Amundsen system or did you find this somewhere?

Then I bought OBD11 devices and indeed was able to find it. Unfortunately, it's not possible to use Google Android Auto wirelessly, however, I can use Apple CarPlay wirelessly. I don't have iPhone, so I can't really test it, but in the SmartLink menu it's two options for CarPlay (USB and WiFi) and only USB for Android Auto. |

Wireless Android Auto is a bit more difficult to connect the first time in case you're not on Android 11 already, or have an Android that won't connect to the Wifi Hotspot. In the adaptations (car), you have to set Google Android Auto to "on", just like Apple Carplay. On means wireless and usb.
If your Android is not on Android 11, go to Android Auto app on your phone, then settings and enable developer settings. In the developer settings, you are able to add the wireless connection option in the settings menu. In the settings menu, enable the wireless connection. Delete the connection from the phone and car and reset infotainment (holding on/off for at least 10 seconds). Then, reconnect the phone via usb and it should give an option to connect wirelessly during setup.

Nope, still can connect AA only with USB.

I was arrived near the activation. Everything was well configured but when MIB asked me to enable WLAN to connect AA, i pressed yes but nothing happened. The AA wireless MIB connection flag was still not active.
Someone has any idea?

Revolution!!!
I changed the Hotspot wlan Škoda scala from 5GHz (unfortunate channel 149, band U-NII-3) to "classic" 2.4GHz !!!
Android Auto works with regular mobile phones !!!!!!!!!
Huawei, Xiaimi and many others where you still need the older Android 6,7,8,9 and you can install an Android car.
But mainly 2.4GHz WLAN can be seen by all phones !!!
Not just Samsung, iPhone, Google Pixel ........
Here's how:
VCDS hex-v2 with ARM chip.
Unit 5F - Electro info
Adjustment - 10
Channel - (almost at the very bottom of the menu)
function configuration connectivity WIFI Hotspot 5GHz - turn off
function configuration connectivity WIFI Hotspot 2.4GHz - turn on
Turn on the radio and all phones can be connected to a 2.4GHz WLAN.
Android car works wirelessly !!!

keras was your car already equipped with wireless connection? I don't understand if you have enabled wireless AA and Apple Carplay form zero, or if you have just improved your already working wireless connectivity.

I already had wireless !!!
It is purely a change of WLAN from 5GHz to 2.4 and a subsequent AA wireless connection with "all" Android phones.
I have a Bolero radio.

Could you prost the full backup of your car or at least the backups of control modules 5F and 75? I want to understand if the wifi hardware module misses or if it is only a matter of coding. I'm sorry but I have some experience only with OBD11. I have heard VCDS and I know it but I never used it.
The OBD11 backup is a simple .txt file. In order to be useful the backup must be readable by a text editor, hence I guess that HEX file format would be useless.

By purchasing these clone devices, you have participated in IP theft and you are just as responsible as sellers of these devices for the illegal trade! And anyone who knowingly aids you in using your pirated cable is also complicit in the crime

There is a list with numbers.
