Hello everybody,
i have had a Passat for two weeks. It is a leasing vehicle
Unfortunately I forgot to configure the DLA/HBA Option. I thought it was included in the business package. The vehicle has travel assist and therefore also the large camera
Has anyone tested whether the light assistant btw. high beam assist can be coded in conjunction with the mib3 and the new front camera?
I saw on the OBD Eleven Website that there is a ready-made app/script for coding. But I'm a little afraid that I will destroy something when coding.

The new Passat does come with MFK3 which a new generation of the Camera. We already know that coding this camera is different than before with MFK2, so be careful with any manual you will find online!
It is also said to be entirely Swap, so you cannot add anymore features, sorry!

Could anyone activate the HIGH BEAM ASSIST function on this car?
I mean if it could be activated by applications with a click not coding

I have the new skoda superb IV MIB3 which is basicly the same as passat technology
And for me the one click app works, beam assist functions for me.

I was able to run DLA in the 2021 model but the option to disable it does not appear on the infotainment. The application with OBD11 does not work, you have to make changes manually. It was also strange that DLA (Light Assist) only started when the car was standing 8 hours after programming.

Hello,
I successfully applied HBA to Passat B8.5 MY2023
See instruction below:
Turn off the lights and open engine hood
1) Perform full backup of all STGs
2) Go to STG 09 Central Electric and apply there below adaptations: Find FernLichtaassistent
a) Set Erweitere_Fernlichtsterung from current to current, FLA - in my case it was Basic, FLA
b) Set Menuesterung FernLichtAssistent to active
c) Set Menuesterung FernLichtAssistent Werkseinsterubg to active
3) Go to STG A5 Driver Assistant and perform below long coding
a) AFS Coding Light Assist —> High Beam Assist
b) FLA Additional High beam —> No Additional High Beam (as originally)
4) Restart Discover Media - Power Button ~ 10s
5) Close Engine hood and lock the car
6) Wait 30s, unlock the car and check light settings in car menu
7) Light Assist Menu should be now available and HBA ready to use

Hello. Worked for me on my Passat 2021. Thanks Tried this and now I have light assist fault and no driver aids work. Lost ACC & lane assist road sign recognition still works but that’s all I reversed the procedure and cleared the light fault but driving aids still won’t work. Have a bricked the car? Looked at my full backup and the central electrics is just full of zeros. Need help urgently please |
