I changed my upper control arms on my Q7, and as a result of unplugging sensors to make room to pull the upper control arms, the air suspension needs to be recalibrated, this is just standard procedure from everything I've found online.
This should be very simple, vehicle parked on level ground, metric tape measure, and some spare time. However three days later I still can't get it passed this error message.
My steps are as follows.
Connect OBDeleven module, open the app
Open control units
Open module 34
Enter security access code 31564
Open adaptation
Enter channel 1
Wait until "wait" message goes away so I can get out of the vehicle, measure the left front from centre of wheel to wheel arch, enter my measurements, blah blah blah, not importamt because I can't get passed this step anyway.
While I'm waiting for it to deflate and reinflate (the wait step), the pump then stops, and I get error "(22) Function Canceled, Marginal Conditions Have Not Been Met"
If I try to go back and try it again, I can't even enter the same security login that previous worked, same error code for the failed login. I can't even scan for codes, I need to turn the vehicle off, open the door, close the door, vehicle back on, and try again, and when I scan for codes I get headlight leveling motors not working (but the headlights move up and down fine when tested) and if the vehicle is running, I also get lane assist not working and brake pad wear sensors (brakes are all brand new as of about 1000km ago), from what I found, all three of those faults are a combination of the air suspension not being calibrated.
I tried with my galaxy S10+ with Android 10, tried on my old Nexus 6p with Android 7, even tried rolling back the APK file to 0.17.0 before the update a few days ago but it won't even let me do anything on the app and forces me to update back to 0.17.1 so I can't even see if this is a bug with the new update.
Any suggestions? I'm getting extremely fed up with this thing and I'm about to drive it with no air and the suspension at the bottom all the way to the sbad yard, Ive actually spent more time working on this vehicle than I have actually getting to drive it lol
