I have 2016 Touran with Discover Pro system. I have no option to play videos. Is there any way to activate it with OBDeleven? Again I want do activate video playback not video in motion.
Thank you in advance

On mine it just plays under media, although I have to press the little clapperboard 🎬 first time But I don't have 🎬 at all in my main menu. Just gallery and music. I have CD/DVD reader, SD card slots and USB socket. But not able to play video.

No select the tune (video) and it will start playing the song, then in the bit where’s the album art normally is, bottom right of that there’s a 🎬 it then adds the video feed (if you converted it to the correct format) no special video selection (well not on mine anyhow), or pop in a dvd and it plays, I would get you a pic but it’s too late now

When I insert DVD with video files(.avi and .divx) it says it does not have any files. Same thing with USB containing same files as DVD. Do You know which video formats this device can play?

Been a while since I converted some but have this written
I think it’s 780p (but 480p works just fine as it’s a small screen) then convert to
resolution (720 x 576 resolution)
codec (x264)
file extension (mp4)
bit rate <1000 kb/s

How is that possible? In other cars woth Dicover Pro there was one. Will I be able to start video this way You showed me?

Would you like me to take some photos for you? The videos I have are on a sd card (downloaded from youtube then converted to format above) I select media, I then select source (sdcard), i then select video/tune (as I have both on sd card) if it’s a video I get a clapperboard 🎬 that when i touch it brings up the video, There is no video icon on the main screen as I’d have thought media replaces all that nowadays

I know I had massive problems finding the right video format when trying to get videos to work, but I thought they just didn’t play, but found this
1. Download your file in any format 2. Open it with Handbrake (free) 3. Make a preset under MP4 560p and ensure the following are all in place under the tabs: Max resolution: 720 x 576 Level: 3.0
ah just looked at your picture, that’s a 6.5 in screen, I don’t think they do video, and I don’t think they have dvd playback

Plays sound but no video. Obviously it does not support video playback. Thank You for Your help.
