Hi all! Please share your experiences with the apps you have used on your B6 Passat. Maybe something short and along these lines...? - Name of app
- Did it work?
- Ease of use (1-5)
That might save some hard earned credits as well as unnecessary posts in this forum... Cheers //Johan

Service reset.
Didn't work first time I tried however worked perfectly after I had disconnected and connected again. Maybe it was my Internet connection dropping out.
Ease of use was 5 out of 5 when it worked.

Daytime Running Lights
I installed aftermarket HIDs and had really bad flickering, so I used the app to disable DRLs. It worked great.
Ease of use - 5/5 as in very easy. I would have liked additional options, though, as in an option to set DRL brightness.
I also used long coding to set Xenons to "without shutter" (Byte 3, bit 4) - not an app, but it worked flawlessly.

Can you help with the coding to activate Xenons? My B6 was on halogen bulbs now I'm running HIDs. I have flickering issue! It's killing me! Lol Thanks

Did you get your flickering fixed? I used the long coding option, Central Electronics. You have to be connected to see it. Once you go into long coding, it's just numbers mainly on the page with options. Each page has 8 available options, though not all of them do anything. You have to scroll down to page 3 (byte 3) and select the bit 4 option. Then save it and you should be good to go.
