Hi Everyone and firstly thank you to everyone here who has help me learn obdeleven and my golf CanBus systems. Well it started with a call from the wife that when hopped into the golf after shopping airbag light has come on. I did a scan and could see multiple items under airbag faults which wont let me clear them. took to a dealer and they are saying new knee drivers air bag, tested batt and said knee bag should fix the issues. yesterday wife was driving and car started to lock/unlock all the way home and was flashing electronic park brake error . but now and again airbag light would go out for 1-2 seconds which it hasn't done before . went to check and play with car next day now its not doing it at all ( lock-unlock ) or park issue but still have airbag light. cold day when error didn't appear but the day had errors was hot . will upload a history within next 2 hours just wanted to start the thread in case someone has had the same issues. cheers friends and thank you Adz p.s. when parking issue is there send car crazy is databus mismatch errors in most modules was 26 fault count lol ! Below is a rundown of whats going on with obdeleven, just to give you the head up i had disconnected the airbag and placed a 2.7 ohm resistor inline which actually gave me "correct" under drivers knee airbag but still couldn't reset errors . Hands up for been a idiot as i reset the airbag module after learning this is not to be done  and this will also be the reason for half the errors regarding airbag in the first place . |
