Is it enough to change the leds with the 3G0 927 103G and code in the ambient colors? 😅 or do i need more hardware changes?

What year is your car? If you have MIB1 head unit you'll have to upgrade to MIB2. Also, you might have to upgrade your BCM unit.

Not 100% sure about replacing the LED modules, although I believe it would be possible and will probably try to do it myself some time soon.
Have you checked if your BCM module (hex 09) has all the necessary adaptation channels needed for the upgrade? Older BCM modules do not have all required adaptation channels.
Also, do you know if you have MIB1 or MIB2 head unit? If you are not sure post the part number so we can check

I thought the bcm for ambient was a + version Control unit: 09 Central Electrics System description: BCM MQBAB M+ I believe SW ver. has to be 0175 at least From my experience older BCM High units do support ambient lighting, but only one colour Not really sure what the differences are between M+ and H modules? Also if anyone knows whether LED modules in Passat are actually the same or possible to fit in Golf (Door strip). I know it's a pain to even get to them in Golf door cards, but I wonder if they're actually replaceable.

For Tiguan LED modules from Passat most suitable.
Middle + version of BCM does not support RGB ambient lighting technically. Simply LIN 5 is absent.

Hey G7D,
sounds like you know what you are talking about.
Could you please Help me.
I had no ambient light at my passat 2016.
So I bought all the multicolor lamps and made by my own all the original cables.
i only tried to code at the central electrics.
Can you tell me what exactly i have to code?
and you said mib 2 is needed?
if i only could choose 3 colors that will be ok for me.
