Hi Guys.
I lost one of my keys (kessy) and would like to go for another solution than the dealer. Can I program a new key using the OBD eleven? Are the aliexpress keys workable/reliable?
tks

No, only your dealer, or someone with vvdi2 or else can do it

No, only your dealer, or someone with vvdi2 or else can do it Tech support in Lithuania stated that I can program a new key. My situation is a bit different. I only have one fob and wish to program a second key. Tech support couldn't give me any directions. Instead they referred me to here to see how others did it.

Hi, The same answer in principle as above. Either you go to the dealer or look for someone who has a suitable tool (for example VVDI2). The latter can read out the immobilizer code in the comfort control unit and then you can also teach new keys to the car (short version)

Even if odb11 could do it i'd be kind of concerned I'd be left with no keys working if something went wrong...then it's a tow to audi.

I have a question about KEY FOBS. if you replace the battery in the remote, do you have to reprogram the remote to the car?
