Hello,
I have a 2010 US market GTI with xenon headlights. I recently installed Philips LED retrofit bulbs for city/parking lights and fog lamps. They work perfectly and I get no error messages, but they flash a few times when I start the car. If possible, I would like to disable cold diagnostics with OBDeleven to eliminate the flashing.
Disabling cold diagnostics is apparently easy to do on a MK5 but I have yet to find a way to accomplish this on a MK6. Can anyone help?

Were you able to find a solution? I too replaced the bulbs with LEDs and have similar ambitions to eliminate the flashing.

Did you ever figure how to fix this? I have the same issue.

The option is there for the MK6, but it doesn't actually do anything like the MK5. You will have to get can-compatible bulbs or use resistors if you want to fix the issue.
