Today I saw a Mercedes in which when reversing turned on the lights in the mirrors to illuminate the place around the car, someone tried to code in vw? I think I saw this description in the door controllers

Puddle lights (ambient lights are on the inside of the car :-) ) cannot be activated unless there is an area-view controller(360deg cameras) is installed. There are two requests which can enable puddle lights: interior lightning from bcm or request from area view.

Hi, thanks for the reply. hehe, yes, I mean a puddle lights (oh this translator). Ambient lights (internal LED strips in the door) as well as the lighting of the feet are controlled by driver 9 and leuchte settings, which allows you to code them in any way, I was surprised that the mirror lights did not. You say that they are turned on only by internal lighting or 360 cameras, it seems to me that there may be another possibility, when you close the car the light inside the car goes out immediately while the lights in the mirrors shine longer and I only have a Loo camera. I was interested in this topic, and knowing the strange hiding of some useful functions by vw engineers, I suspect that it can be coded somehow

Maybe they have a different hystersis internally. I have found out that when coding the interior light to be always on (dimmed), the puddle lights stay on for a veeery long time after starting the car, maybe you can do some testing with the interior lights (unused parameters or such)

My static cornering lights both turn on when reversing. I believe I found that tweak in the sticky thread.

Cioce, thanks for listening. Much obliged. Do you have the golf mk7.5 "leuchte" diagram? Is there leuchte to customize a new installed light?
