Hi there,
I tried to activate the static cornering lights on my Polo. Therefore I used 10 Credits and applied the automatic way from the App. It says the process was successful, but in fact, the fog lights do not turn on :-(
so, any hints or advise that you have to fix this?
Fog lights are installed, but in my model they are used only as a day driving light (means, my light switch does not have the position to activate fog lights).

if the "fog" lights were installed from factory then you should have position on the switch to turn them on or off. Your car probably has the halogen DRL  If you have purchased the pro license follow these steps. Enter Module 09 - Central Electrics -Adaption -- Search for Leuchte12NL & Leuchte13NL if the "Type of load" is set to not active then you dont have front fog lights but instead have halogen DRL -------- ▼▼▼ Follow the steps below to use Halogen DRL as "Cornering lights" when light switch is on Dipped beam/Low beam▼▼▼Go back to Adaption under Central Electrics - Search for "Static AFS light" -- Make sure your values are the same  ----- Go back and search for "Leuchte4TFL" (Left DRL)-- Light_Function_C_4: nicht aktiv -> Abbiegelicht links and not Abblendlicht links (Dont change value if original value isnt nicht aktiv)-- Dimming_CD_4: 0 ->100 -- Dimming_Direction_CD_4: Maximize -Go back and search for "Leuchte5 TFL" (Right DRL)-- Light_Function_C_5: nicht aktiv -> Abbiegelicht rechts and not Abblendlicht rechts (Dont change value if original value isnt nicht aktiv)-- Dimming_CD_5: 0 -> 100 -- Dimming_Direction_CD_5: Maximize ▼▼▼ Follow the steps below to activate Halogen DRL on same side as indicator/turn signal when light switch is on Dipped beam/Low beam ▼▼▼ Enter Module 09 - Central Electrics
-Adaption -- Leuchte4TFL (Left DRL)--- Light_Function_D_4: nicht aktiv -> Blinken links aktiv (Dont change value if original value isnt nicht aktiv)--- Dimming_CD_4: 0 ->100 (Skip if you did the cornering light modification above)--- Dimming_Direction_CD_4: Maximize (Skip if you did the cornering light modification above)
-- Leuchte5 TFL" (Right DRL)--- Light_Function_D_5: nicht aktiv -> Blinken rechts aktiv (Dont change value if original value isnt nicht aktiv)--- Dimming_CD_5: 0 -> 100 (Skip if you did the cornering light modification above)--- Dimming_Direction_CD_5: Maximize (Skip if you did the cornering light modification above)

Well, I'll check this on the weekend. According to your info, I think I only have the DRL, I thought this doesn't matter as it looks the same and therefore it can be configured.
So with DRL the cornering lights do not work, right?

With the steps i posted under is to "activate" cornering lights on halogen DRL. They will work when switch is on Dipped beam/Low beam

Will it also work, whwn switch is in Auto, and the light sensor has turned on the low beam?

Do you know how to adjust it to LED bulbes?" if I understand you correctly you have changed the halogen DRL to LED ? and want to change coding to LED? if that is correct you need to change "Lasttype" inside Leuchte4 and Leuchte5 to either "LED Tagfahrlichtmodul versorgung" or "LED Tagfahrlightmodul signal" if you still get errors or flicker LED try any other LED in the list. |
