Hello.
Hello. I use a Gen2 device.
I tried to install Video in Motion, a one-click app today, but I couldn't. I received a notification saying “Not supported”. What is the cause?
There is no mention of models that cannot be used in the explanation.
Of course, I have tried it in the ignition state and have enough credit.
Thank you

Did you do your friends on the gen2? 2018 should be good though, did you use a iOS or Android? Wonder if the gen2 can’t do the VIM just yet

^^^^ Isn't the VIM one-click-app limited to devices with software ID below a certain number? I can't recall the actual number (1000 - perhaps?)
takachin: Try running the App on the dongle that you used on your friends car

^^^ I mean that my understanding is that the VIM app will not work if the MIB firmware number is beyond a certain value - can't remember the actual firmware number. I tried using the APP on my Audi A3 (2018 build) and the firmware number was beyond the threshold stated in the APP - so I wouldn't be surprised if an MY18 Golf might face the same problem (unless Voltas has updated the APP) perhaps? In other words, isn't it written in the app, but can't it be used with IDs over 1000?

Any update on this. 2019 Alltrack SE, and I can not get VIM to work. Just says not supported. Actually almost everything is not supported. I can not get Windows Via Fob either. Am I missing something?

It certainly is the case on my MQB platform Audi which shares the same DNA as the Gold mk7 (and mk7.5) - see the bit that I have boxed in yellow in the pic below (and ignore Voltas IT's bad English).

Modul 5f adaptation testmode_video_speed_cutoff
changing that to a higher speed would probably work

May be your car is new, and have a firmware in your 5F unit that no like the use of the video in motion. Vw fix his firmware in each new version....
