Hi to everyone.
Yesterday, i was testing in the 4B module. I have the basics led lights, not the high leds.
Well, i could activate the city lights in this module. After that, i was a error in this module, but doing the procedure of erase errors in lights (basic procedure and the aknowledge), the error disapear.
The question is if anyone knows that if i active the city light or the highway light can damage the leds lights or the module 4B ?
thanks

I think it’s fine, no damage will occur. Whenever I change any long coding in 4B, I also get the AFS error. Nothing to worry about, I believe. I have both City and Highway lights enabled on my GTI, as well.

It is important that when acknowledging basic settings to have the car on the most flat surface you will find (and maybe unload your trunk), as this will be used as a 0-setting for the automatic light levelling.

Creo que está bien, no se producirán daños. Cada vez que cambio cualquier codificación larga en 4B, también recibo el error AFS. Nada de qué preocuparse, creo. También tengo las luces de la ciudad y de la carretera habilitadas en mi GTI. What kind of led lights do you have?

I have the LED lights (American type) with High Beam Assist but without DLA. I think it’s PXB or something like that.

Hi folks.
I think that my car have the second inner led l_ l_ _l _l. I see into the front ligh and I can see leds in both. In it is on and in it off. Any one knows where are the controllers D6 D7, and the 29 39 ?
I have installed D6 and D7. The outer leds.
Thanks for your time

So on my GTI, 29 and 39 are “LCM_MLBevo” modules 8V0-907-399D. They are the silver module that plugs into the back of the headlight.
D6 and D7 are Led1L and Led1R, 7P5-941-572A (both). I’m not sure where these are, I’m guessing these are the headlights themselves.
Hope that helps..
Edit: a little more info. D6 and D7 are another module that apparently plugs into the bottom of the headlight. It's called a "Power Mod" or power regulator.

Thanks so much 2018gti
Well. What happens if I replace my actual module for this?

Hm, I’m not sure what you mean. Did your car come with the LED lights from factory?

I’m just not sure of your question. Are you worried about Highway and City lights? Or is it that you’d like to enable the inner LEDs?

Ah OK, well about the highway/city lights, I would just enable and see what happens. The worst that would happen is an error code. How about Rain light and All-weather light, are they enabled?
But enabling the inner LEDs, I have no clue, haha. If someone in Europe could post their 29, 39, D6, and D7 part numbers maybe we could compare them. Maybe all you'd have to do is switch one of the modules to a higher version. The worst case would be that VW didn't put any actual LEDs in the inner position.
I'm also curious about the LEDs, just in general. How they work. And how I can switch the "market" flag in 4B from nar to ece without any error codes resulting.
