Hi, I figured it out by accident: when hitting yes, it changes the coding in the gateway list as it finds control units in your car. I would recommend you hitting No every time it asks and never set the check box so you can be sure it won't automatically code the gateway list anymore. I didn't test if checking the box and hitting no will stop this feature but you can also give it a try by checking the history in-app as it logs the autocoding as well.

I did some testing on this and removed a control unit (for testing purposes) and what this did is add it back in to my list (correctly)

see my output here what is showed me was that i had missed a control unit in my list and it added it back in, it also added in an entry in the history file.

I have had this set to yes since it was released and am not aware of any issues with this feature, if you find some please give specific details.

Thanks for the write up. Best I have seen explaining a lot of things with OBD11 since nothing is put out by the developers
