Is it possible to reduce this from the 65kph to something like 40kph as where i live is a lot of lower speed limits and it would be good to have it enabled.
Havent looked through modules but some pointers would be nice Thanks

Not possible, one workaround is TJA (traffic jam assist) which is when you put cruise on below 65 lane assist works
Only problem is finding someone to do it for you (£295), or hack the system

Uploading a dataset with VCP or ODIS is not hacking in my opinion. Wow... My VCP did cost less than 300€ - would be worth quitting my job with that revenue.
To answer that question: There is no parameter which is changeable with OBD11 for this.
Generally the LA is limited to 60km/h and above. When having ACC active and TJA is enabled in the parameter set, Traffic Jam Assist will take over and will keep you in land between 0 and 60km/h. It is practically the same software and hardware, still the feature has a different name.

I meant a licensed vw Odis tech would charge £300 and it would be registered at vw, VCP is uploading a parameter set to a firmware that’s not done via vw so technically a hack (gain unauthorized access to data in a system or computer.) but it’s a proven method

I meant a licensed vw Odis tech would charge £300 and it would be registered at vw, I still do not know any country where you could buy TJA in the aftermarket. ODIS S is only able to reproduce VWs factory parameters. The only way is to change the factories setting is to enter an valid SVM-Code beforehand. There is no SVM for TJA i heard of, but cannot monitor all markets Usinf ODIS E you can Upload Parameters as you whish. Same as with VCP - no back-documentation to VW. ODIS E is illegal to use beside Engineering

There was definitely one New Zealand guy (or Aussie, or both) that went back to his dealer stating the car should’ve come with TJA and they enabled it, he took before and after maps of his car I seem to recall
