I , i've Just installed the folding mirrors (buyed on aliexpress) on my vw golf 7.5 and I've done the same coding on driver and passenger door control units. The passenger side works properly, but the driver side doesn't. Obd 11 find this error in the driver door unit "B11F613" says something like folding motor circuit open, does anybody have any suggestions? is it possible that the plug is wired differently in the chinese version? P.s. the light under the mirrors doesn't works, do I need another coding for that? thanks

If you enter Module 42 "Door Electronics Driver Side"
> "Info", what does it say on "Hardware number" ?
If I remember correctly to get the puddle light to work you need to enter Module 42&52 -> Long coding -> Change "Front_field_light" from not_active to active

^^^^robert: from your description of the error code - I suspect (guess really) that the problem may be at the connector. I suggest that you examine the connector carefully - look for bent pins, or loose wires.

Thank you guys for the reply, I've done some screenshot of obd11 today, after the coding the passenger side works, even the front field lights works after the code that Vic suggested, but the driver side doesn't works, at this point I think I need a different control unit for the driver side, the 5Q4959593B maybe?

roberth you read my mind, that is what I was getting at that your driver side module does not support powerfolding mirrors & puddle light due to it doesnt have the pins for thoose features. The 593 is exactly what you need for the Driver side module to get powerfolding to work. Edit: after you have changed the module you probably need to recalibrate the window motor to be able to regain the "automatic one tap window open and close" What you need to do after you have replaced the module is to turn ignition on or Engine - Run window all the way down -> Hold down for 2 Seconds -> Release button for a second -> Hold down for 2 Seconds - Run window all the way up -> Hold up for 2 Seconds -> Release button for a second -> Hold up for 2 seconds

Driver door must be hardware 5Q0959593B
and passenger side 5Q0959592B

the passenger is 5Q4959592B and it's working good, I've just found a 5Q4959593B used unit for 30€ As soon as I have time to install and code it we'll see :-)
Do you know if I should have particular precautions for the installation?
