The post is some month old, but maybe someone else has the same problem.
Shows how to use OBDeleven to code a new battery. For a working BEM code you need to search the internet. Depends on the battery you want to use.

HI while i was trying to code my new battery, the user interface for obdeleven is different than the one shown on video. i think that is because of the new version. but for my car there is no such option (my car is VW passat B7 3C sedan model). so can any one could help me to do it.

Hello , here the same problem , watched the video , plugged connector in to A6 4F en followed the steps ... First difference is I have in the menu Long coding en the movie version coding ... Then they select bit 30 in the movie en a new window opens ==> fill in new BEM = OK . When I select bit 30 i get a screen where i can select write new code ==> OK ==> New value accepted ! I didn't have the chance to fill in the new BEM ! So old BEM is updated with OLD BEM if i check the history ..

Just bought a new battery from Audi, it did not come with the BEM sticker. I've asked the guy how I would be able to do it, and he asked the mechanics there. The answer I had was: Some cars don't really need it(looks like my A6 does not need it), when they do it at Audi, they use 1234567890, or 0000000000. The idea of changing the coding for the battery is just to recognize that there is a new battery installed. After some research in forums, I just changed the last number of the code. You can find it here: www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/176570-battery-coding-and-bem-number-requires on post #2

In the video posted here, when you click on 30, you need to long press it. Then the value will come up, then you need to press the ascii button to change it to hex mode. Now enter the new values as described. For some of the batteries that start with 000 that’s on the battery infront of the part number it won’t work, has to be the 4F designation of the part number.

How do I code a new Audi AGM battery replacement please? So old thread I know but ill post steps on how to do it using next generation pro version **if you have same specification battery without bem sticker go to last part of this post this goes for replacing exact same audi battery as well** 1. Plug in odb to port and turn car on without engine on 2. Go into control modules/battery regulation/subsystems/long coding 3. Press and hold any of the numbers on top and a pop box with value will show...for example like this 344630393135313035442056413033353037323550303532 key part is this, on that pop up box press the ASCll button it will now show you what your old version is in BEM value mine turned to this after pressing ASCll 4F0915105D VA0350725P052 4. Rewrite those series of numbers letters with the bem sticker on your battery for example mine was diehard H9 AGM platinum battery My bem sticker codes written in value string was this 4P0915105D JCB23020660OE What it looks like without ASCll button 34503039313531303544204A434232333032303636304F45 5. After you write new value press ok and click the green check box Your done! * To check if it worked go into battery regulation/subsystems/instead of pressing long coding press info instead it'll show you the value in this form 34503039313531303544204A434232333032303636304F45 Match yours up to see if it registered. Good luck...took a week 😄 🤣 ** For those who got same spec battery as the old battery and does not have bem sticker follow the steps to get to the pop up box with value like this 4F0915105D VA0350725P052 Keep everything same but change the last digit for example * 4F0915105D VA0350725P053 follow finishing steps above from here 👍
