Hi,
I'm a new user to odbeleven, so first thing I did, before doing any changes, was run a scan and two errors showed:
09 central electronics : Trouble codes:
U112100 - Databus missing message
Passive
A5 Front Sensors Driver Assistance System: Trouble codes:
C110400 - Camera malfunction
Passive
I've read somewhere that the camera malfunction happens and can be ignored but it comes back every time I connect odbeleven, same goes for the faulty gatway.
Any suggestions?

Since the faults are passive they shouldn't come back immediately after you clear them. I hope you cleared the faults before reconnecting otherwise it's clear why they're "coming back".

Yeah I did but they both keep coming back.
I'll try clearing them again tomorrow.

Maybe your camera have sporadic faults. Try to put a backup

I have the same first listed error form your two ones and I can't delete it, it will still appear after I tried it. In the dash it shows me "traffic signs not working"
Now I have only shown the traffic signs from my Navi.
Any ideas how to solve it? -New camera? -or could it be reserved?

domima: Hi.
OK - the traffic signs on the SATNAV uses and entirely different data mechanism to the Traffic Sign recognition function the appears on the dashboard. The former(which VW calls VZA- VerkehrsZeichen-Anzeige: Traffic Sign Display)uses ONLY cadastral data from the GPS information -while the latter (which VW calls "Traffic Sign Recognition") predominantly uses street signs seen by the front facing camera (note: in "fusion" mode, this data can be combined with GPS info). So - was TSR factory set on your car - or did you enable the function with OBD11?

Hi Don,
I think I have to dive in deeper how the error appeared the first time... First of all, I had the VZA on my car from the factory side. On my AID it showed two signs at the same time. ...then I bought OBD11 and read in the forum about pacc and just wanted to tick the boxes on to check what's happening (and one of the biggest fails a beginner can do is to forget to make a backup) and surely I don't did it. ...after a drive on the next morning nothing special happened. I wasn't able to tick the boxes for curve Assistent and I think passenger collision for the front. I removed the made settings but one day later an error appeared (U112100) with some others and the steering wheel was out of function. After putting the ignition off and on only the one issue (U112100) can't be deleted.
I am open for every idea you have.
Thanks, Dom

Dom: hmm... so both VCDS and OBD11 diagnostic devices cater for the not unfamiliar failure to back-up "beginner-error" - and VCDS even goes one further in now creating a file that will automatically reload ALL adaptation channels to their previous values - how good is that? In your case though and seeing that we are discussing stuff in the OBD11 forum - ALL the changes that you have made are recorded in the History part of OBD11. I created a small instruction picture showing how to access these records and how to send yourself a copy of the file for ease of examining the material - see below. My suggestion: look CAREFULLY at those records that pertain to the pacc changes that you made(which incidentally - I thought was a SWAP feature needing a VIN specific license) - then revert these specific changes. Then try to clear the error Don
PS: just to confirm - are you saying that you had/have VZA (not Traffic Sign Recognition) appearing on the AID dashboard screen? Ive been trying to find the software switch to enable this!

Hi Don,
It's some time ago and I just wanted to update on my progress:
1. The traffic sign recognition VZE was originally coded in my car, I added the VZA also to itby following the guidelines from the forum
2. I looked deeply into the changes I made and looked when the error appears in module 17 but I can't find out what's the problem and can't delete it. I think I have to go to VW and will see what they will find.
Thanks for your help, Dom
