hello, after coding for the display of road signs, I can't see them on the active info dysplay, or in the MIB. I always see the wording "road signs not available". As an option I have both the navigator and the lane assist. Would you help me?

Hi Alex,
I'm still testing on the road sign recognition, do you have the settings that you have made? Below you will find my settings but it still doesn't work.
[A5-Front Sensors] Click on Extended coding Press the button on the top right that shows a '0' and '1' to see it Bytes mode; Each Byte has 8 bits (from 0 to 7 included) Press the right arrow down until you reach Byte 16 Inside Byte 16 activate bit 4 and do not modify the rest Press the Validate button Exit Module A5 and enter Module 5F Click on Adaptation Search for Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2 Enter menu_display_road_sign_identification and change to On Enter menu_display_road_sign_identification_over_threshold_high and change to On Press the Validate button Go back to Adaptation and look for Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 Enter traffic_sign_recognition_0x21 and change to On Enter traffic_sign_recognition_0x21_msg_bus and change to ' Data Bus Infotainment' Press the Validate button Exit Module 5F and enter Module 17 Click on Extended Coding Press the button on the top right that shows a '0' and '1' to see it Bytes mode; Each Byte has 8 bits (from 0 to 7 included) Down, press the right arrow until you reach Byte 5 Inside Byte 5 activate bit 2 and do not modify the rest Press the Validate button Restart the Infotainment by pressing and holding the power button between 10s to 15s and release. It should work already. In the settings of the driving assistants, the option 'Signal recognition' should appear and the speed signals appear in the frame. Note: This extra is associated with the GPS, so those without a GPS will see a message on the infotainment when entering to see ' the state of the car' which indicates that signal recognition is limited. This warning will also appear for a few seconds in the instrument cluster to start the march. This message is only informative and does not produce any problem, error or failure. The recognition of signals will work normally but limited without the information that the navigator could provide.

Yes to your first question.
For second question you May have installed a frontal camera. This camera read the traffic signals and compare with gps navigation of your multimedia module, or simply read the signal and show in the cockpit.

It is not possible with the Software 3Q0980654R. You need to flash your cam to Software 3Q0980654S. Had the same issue on my Scala, now works perfect.

You need ODIS Engineering Software. VCP is ok too. Ask if anyone has it nearby.

Sorry, Bro. I have no experience with this software and i do not have it by my own. All i know is that it must be an official software which is connected to the VAG database. It works with containers where to put the files into and write on the A5. Similar to VCP. Read the tutorial on youtube or on the Odis engineering homepage.

Are you sure about that software flash, what I can see it seems that the partnumber is depending on what hardware is installed.
